Holiday Share

HolidaySharePhoto_1.jpgMore than any other time during the year, as a Marin County nonprofit agency, the Novato Human Needs Center needs your donations in November and December. Our Holiday Share Program provides annual holiday food and gifts to low-income Novato families, so that each child can receive some special new toys and families can share a holiday meal together.

DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS.
As a Novato nonprofit organization, we welcome your donations of:
• Non-perishable food items
• New unwrapped gifts or toys for children ages 0 – 17
• Cash donations, which will help us purchase grocery store gift certificates, turkeys, hams, department store gift certificates for teens, and help us support our other programs throughout the year.

Why are volunteers needed?
• Throughout the season, we also need volunteers to sort and pack food, set up our “toy store,” and help distribute gifts and food to families. To volunteer, please call Dina Gardner at 897-4147, ext. 19. 

HOLIDAY SHARE 2008 REGISTRATION
You only need to register one time for both holidays each year.
Note: There will be no late registration this year.

Please come back in November 2008 for more information regarding registration.

What documents do residents need to bring?
Even if you registered or were a client in previous years, please bring:
• Proof of address
(PG&E, phone, water or other bill)
• Proof of income
(pay stub, bank statement or 2006 Income Taxes)
• Child birth certificate or Social Security card
• Child’s school report card for grades K - 12
