 Thanks to everyone who supported the Center for the annual 4th of July Parade!

July 4, 2010 046The Center’s van was festively decorated by a group of our dedicated volunteers who participated in this year’s Novato 4th of July parade.   The van that regularly transports our senior and disabled clients was warmly welcomed rolling down Grant Avenue due to our energetic volunteers who endured the heat in order to support the Center.  With community members along the parade route clapping and cheering for the Center as we passed, we were reminded of the commitment of so many to the crucial work of the Center. Thank you again to all of the volunteers who woke up early to help decorate and walk with us in the parade and for the ongoing support of Novato residents who make our work possible. 

Regina Rus Joins NHNC Board of Directors

Regina Bianucci Rus 7-3-07_ (8) web ready BWThe Novato Human Needs Center is proud to announce that Regina Bianucci Rus has accepted a position on its Board of Directors. Rus, a local CPA and resident of Novato for 19 years, has volunteered for the Center’s Holiday Share Program through its food and gift drives and participates annually in the Holiday Share shopping days.  With extensive volunteer experience in a variety of nonprofit organizations in the community and her affiliation with the California Society of CPA’s, Rus brings a breadth of knowledge to her role at the Center that will help expand agency resources and enhance client services.
